As a United States Department of Energy Clean Cities and Communities Partner and 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we have been working with a variety of stakeholders in our community to achieve our mission since 2006. We are one of over 75 Clean Cities Coalitions across the country.

Randi Walkins
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Randi coordinates the day to day operations for the Treasure Valley Clean Cities Coalition and serves as a Climate Action and Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Boise. She holds a BS in Geosciences from Boise State University and a PhD in Geophysics from Stanford University.

Jason V. Green
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Driven by a desire to be closer to family, Jason recently returned to Idaho and joined the Treasure Valley Clean Cities as Program Director. Prior to his return, Jason served as Operations Assistant for Drive Clean Colorado (a Clean Cities and Communities Coalition), and Clean Cities Director at Northern Colorado Clean Cities, as an advocate for initiatives empowering rural fleets and underserved communities to adopt sustainable practices.

Pia Goodell
INTERN
Pia is a student at Boise State University studying Environmental and Climate Studies. She is passionate about expanding alternative fuels in the Treasure Valley.

Paul Mann
BOARD OF DIRECTORS - PRESIDENT
Paul Mann is a retired professional who worked for J.R. Simplot Co. for 32 years as the manager of production planning and ethanol sales. As manager he helped to combine the waste from vegetable oil with fermented waste potatoes to fuel diesel engines. Paul also serves as a Board Member for the Foundation for Ada/Canyon Trail Systems (F.A.C.T.S.).

Patti Best
BOARD OF DIRECTORS - VICE PRESIDENT
Patti is a Senior Program Specialist at Idaho Power and currently coordinates the company’s strategic transportation electrification efforts. At Idaho Power, Patti has also worked in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Prior to joining Idaho Power, Patti worked as the Pollution Prevention Coordinator for the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality where she helped advance alternative transportation fuels and worked to secure the Boise area’s Clean Cities designation. Patti holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and MS from the University of Colorado.

Rachele Klein
BOARD OF DIRECTORS - SECRETARY
Rachele manages municipal services and government affairs for Republic Services in Idaho. She received a B.S. from UC Davis and an M.S. from the University of Florida before joining Republic Services in 2005. Rachele has dedicated her career to bringing environmentally progressive waste management practices and sustainable technologies to Idaho. Through active grant writing and municipal collaboration, Rachele helped facilitate the adoption of renewable natural gas and electric trucks, automated collection services, single-stream recycling, and residential composting.

Jason Korn
BOARD OF DIRECTORS - TREASURER
Jason is the environmental programs coordinator for the City of Meridian. Jason oversees the development and implementation of programs supporting Public Works and City-wide environmental and sustainability related initiatives. Jason holds a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho.

Belinda Breidenbach
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Belinda is the Environmental Assistance Coordinator for the Idaho Small Business Development Center. She assists small businesses in compliance with environmental regulations and opportunities for electric vehicle charging stations. Belinda holds a BS in Geology from the University of Florida, a Masters in Environmental Planning from Florida State University, and Master’s in Technical Communication from Boise State University.

Elaine Clegg
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Valley Regional Transit (VRT) CEO Elaine Clegg has been working in the transportation sector and as a public servant for more than 25 years. She’s served on the Boise City Council, the VRT Board and Executive Board, numerous advisory committees and councils, and as a program leader at Idaho Smart Growth.

Wade Hubsmith
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
As the Sustainability Initiatives Coordinator for Boise State University Fleet Management, Wade eagerly embraces the opportunity to create a long term model for vehicle sustainability at Boise State University. Wade is a Certified Master Automotive Service Technician with over 35 years of experience. Wade was an Assistant Professor at Boise State University and the College of Western Idaho - teaching Automotive Technology. He also has experience teaching Industry Training courses.

David Luft
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Dave is the Air Quality Manager for the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Boise Regional Office. Among his responsibilities, Dave oversees the implementation of State and Federal Air Quality Rules in the southwest 10 Idaho counties, the operation of an air quality monitoring network and the implementation of the Canyon County Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance program. Dave previously worked for DEQ in both the Waste and Planning Divisions. Prior to joining DEQ, Dave worked in the private sector in hazardous waste management and environmental cleanup. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree from Montana State University.

Mark is the Director of Canyon County Fleet Services Master Certified Fleet Manager (MCFM) with a dedication to saving fuel, tires, and tons of pollutants while efficiently managing and maintaining the county fleet. Recognized by 100 Best Fleets for peak performing fleet operations.
